Day 16: Teams

As an instructional coach, I wear many hats.  Sometimes I am giving professional development, sometimes I am meeting with a teacher, and sometimes I am working with students.  I would say the majority of my time is spent working with teams of teachers writing/revising curriculum. We call them core teams.  My area of emphasis is 2nd-4th grade, reading, writing, science, and social studies.  I spend countless days during the school year in all day meetings with teachers -- and I LOVE it!  Today, the day before Spring Break, I am working with a 3rd/4th Math Team and it is just wonderful-- a group of teacher working to make things tremendous for kids and teachers.  I am so proud to be part of this team!
